Our growing Machine shop is looking to hire a CNC Punch Operator working on the afternoon shift. There are about 18 CNC machinists at this shop. This is a full-time, permanent role with great perks! Our shop is in Richmond where we manufacture precision metal parts for high-tech companies.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday from 4:00pm to 2:30am
Compensation/Perks:
- $20/hr to $28/hr

Key Duties:
- Operate CNC punch press based on drawings and work orders
- Perform first-off inspections and verify die set accuracy
- Maintain machine and tooling; send dull tools for sharpening
- Organize and label incoming materials and pallets
- Break parts during production runs
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Report tooling needs to Lead Hand or Foreman
- Follow all quality, safety, and lean procedures
Qualifications:
- Experience operating and programming CNC punch presses (Trumpf preferred)
- Familiarity with CNC controls and programming
- High school diploma + 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Technical training or coursework preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs regularly
