Position: Business Development Representative – Remote – Ottawa
Compensation: 80-95k base salary, 25% performance bonus
We are looking for a motivated BDR to join our Sales team and build strong relationships with channel partners to meet and exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new channel partners.
  • Schedule and conduct customer meetings to present products, solutions, and services.
  • Demonstrate product features, articulate value propositions, and handle objections.
  • Follow up regularly on open opportunities and ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Negotiate sales agreements and close opportunities.
  • Document account activities and customer information in CRM.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support strategy.
  • Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends; provide training to customers.
  • Manage a designated sales territory, including planning efficient travel schedules.
  • Collaborate with marketing, inside sales, and product development teams.
  • Provide feedback to improve products, processes, and services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Fully bilingual in English and French, with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal motor vehicle.
