  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Competitive hourly wage: $31–$35/hr (based on experience)

What You’ll Do: Licensed Automotive Mechanic (Red Seal)

As a Licensed Automotive Mechanic, you will:
  • Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of vehicles and industrial equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
  • Conduct oil changes, brake work, tire changes, and general preventive maintenance
  • Complete Motor Vehicle Inspections (MVI) and pre/post-sale inspections
  • Conduct frame and powertrain checks to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
  • Maintain accurate work documentation and follow safety procedures
  • Mentor and support apprentice technicians
  • Assist with sourcing parts and preparing customer quotes
  • Keep the workshop organized, clean, and safe
What We’re Looking For: Licensed Automotive Mechanic (Red Seal)
  • Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2–3 years relevant experience (newly licensed candidates considered)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems (an asset)
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Nice to Have: Licensed Automotive Mechanic (Red Seal)
  • MVI license (an asset)
  • 5+ years experience
  • Experience mentoring apprentices
  • Comfortable using basic computer tools and smartphones
