Responsibilities:

📑 Manage the accounts payable process

📅 Perform monthly data entry and reconciliations

🔒 Assist with monthly financial close and ensure internal controls are followed

📂 Organize and maintain files in preparation for audits

🔄 Reconcile accounts daily by reviewing statements and transactions

📈 Process high volumes of invoices, matching them with purchase orders and ensuring timely approval for payments

🤝 Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and strengthen relationships

📝 Prepare journal entries, record transactions, and conduct analysis to ensure accuracy

💻 Use accounting software and Excel to generate reports, create models, and track financial data

🔍 Identify and resolve account discrepancies by reviewing documentation and making necessary adjustments

Qualifications & Experience:

🎓 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounts payable role, with a solid understanding of the full accounts payable cycle

📜 AEC, DEC, or DEP in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent)

💻 Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions like VLookUp and PivotTables

🗂️ Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
