What you’ll be doing:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Performing bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
- Supporting month-end close and financial reporting
- Assisting with tax filings including HST/GST, QST, and payroll remittances
- Working closely with leadership to support reporting and improve processes
- Helping identify ways to make accounting workflows more efficient
What they’re looking for:
- 3+ years of accounting experience in a similar role
- Post-secondary education in accounting
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting systems
- Someone detail-oriented, organized, and naturally curious
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and with a team
Nice to have (but not required):
- Experience in construction or project-based environments
- Exposure to multi-entity or multi-currency accounting .
- Experience with ERP systems or construction-related software
- Bilingualism
