Cashier / Front of House Staff
Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Salary: $21/hour
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier / Front of House Staff to join a fast-paced food services environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and organized retail area.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions using a POS system (tap payments only)
- Restock snacks and beverages
- Prepare and maintain the coffee station (brew coffee)
- Wash, prepare, and display fruits
- Bake and display ready-to-bake items daily
- Maintain cleanliness of all service areas (soup, salad, sandwich, panini, coffee stations, etc.)
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management when stock is low
- Perform end-of-day cleaning (wipe surfaces, clean equipment, sweep and mop floors)
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
- Professional appearance and grooming
- Experience in food service is an asset
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset
Requirements
- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) required – can be in progress if proof of request is provided
