Location: Markham, Ontario
Shift Availability:
Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Training on Day Shift for approximately 2 months before transitioning)
Pay Rate: $42–$45 per hour depending on experience
Shift Premium: $0.75 per hour for Afternoon Shift
Overtime: After 44 hours
Benefits: Eligible after 3 months
Safety Shoes: $100 contribution every 2 years
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Licensed Millwright (433A) to support maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on ensuring production equipment, machinery, and facility systems operate efficiently and reliably. The successful candidate will troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and complete preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain machinery, production equipment, and facility systems.
Complete work orders efficiently while prioritizing the most critical tasks.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on CI presses, laminators, and other production equipment.
Perform mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and facility upkeep tasks as required.
Collaborate with internal teams and external specialists for complex repairs.
Minimize operational disruption through effective troubleshooting and repair planning.
Maintain clear communication with leadership regarding maintenance activities and projects.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and additional maintenance projects.

Qualifications
Red Seal Certification (433A Millwright or Electrician) is mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing environments, preferably within printing or packaging operations.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
Familiarity with automation systems and printing machines, including equipment with up to 10-color capabilities.
Working knowledge of carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, adaptable, proactive, and solution-oriented.
