We are seeking a Deburring Technician with experience in precision machining and metal finishing to join our growing team. The successful candidate will perform deburring, polishing, grinding, sanding, and surface finishing of small precision parts used in aerospace, defense, and medical manufacturing.
Candidates with experience in aerospace, defense, nuclear, or medical device manufacturing environments and precision machined components are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform deburring, polishing, sanding, grinding, and finishing of precision machined components
- Work with materials including Titanium, Aluminum, Mild Steel, and Stainless Steel
- Use hand tools and handheld power tools such as grinders, sanders, files, and polishing equipment
- Perform sand blasting and surface finishing of small precision parts
- Conduct visual inspection and quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances
- Maintain clean and safe work environments following manufacturing safety standards
- Follow work instructions, drawings, and quality procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production team
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Previous experience in deburring, polishing, grinding, sanding, or metal finishing
- Experience working with machined metal components
- 5+ years experience in a similar deburring or finishing role preferred
- Experience in precision machining environments such as aerospace, defense, nuclear, or medical device manufacturing is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Experience using handheld power tools
- Self-motivated, dependable, and quality focused
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
- Someone who enjoys problem solving and continuous improvement
