The Opportunity
A precision machining manufacturer is looking for an experienced Citizen Swiss CNC Programmer / Setup Machinist to join their team producing high-precision components for aerospace, medical, defense, and advanced technology industries.
This position is ideal for a machinist who enjoys complex Swiss machining, tight tolerances, and challenging parts in a clean, organized shop environment.
What You'll Be Doing

Program and set up Citizen Swiss CNC machines

Edit and optimize G-code / M-code programs

Program using Mastercam
-
Perform full machine setups and tooling adjustments

Produce tight tolerance precision components

Inspect parts using CMM, vision systems, micrometers, calipers, and gauges

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes

Maintain tooling and machine performance
What We're Looking For

5–10+ years experience with Swiss CNC machines
-
Strong experience with Citizen Swiss lathes

Experience programming with Mastercam
-
Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code
-
Ability to read complex machining drawings

Experience holding tight tolerances

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have

Experience machining aerospace, medical, or defense components

Experience with advanced plastics or specialty materials

Machinist trade certification or technical diploma
