Job Description
  • We are seeking a Vice President, Business Systems Analysis, to lead the delivery of innovative application solutions that support the operations and scalability of our Wealth Solutions and Credit business areas. In this pivotal role, you will apply your expertise in leadership, product management, operational excellence, and business systems analysis to lead the implementation and optimization of applications, and integrations. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong business and technical acumen within the Asset Management or Insurance industry, exceptional communication skills for engaging senior stakeholders, the ability to develop and mentor team members, and a disciplined approach to solving complex technology challenges
What You Will Do
  • Lead and mentor a global team of Business Systems Analysts to deliver agreed initiatives within established timelines.
  • Drive operational excellence by managing Service Requests and Incidents to achieve agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement) metrics.
  • Champion continuous improvement through automation, solution optimization, and root cause analysis of past incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between application initiatives and broader architecture, SDLC, ITL, cyber and tooling standards.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date product documentation is maintained in accordance with standards, including solution diagrams, requirements, product roadmaps, application integration mappings, data dictionaries, and vendor software license details.
  • Lead migration of existing legacy application integrations to Snowflake, ensuring consistent solution design, optimal performance, stability and scalability.
  • Lead team performing after-hours support of applicable application and integration solution components.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective, technology solutions.
  • Partner with Vice President, Application Engineering to document requirements for system changes and ensure successful delivery of all in scope application components.
  • Assess and address improvement opportunities associated with applications to proactively minimize business impact.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes between multiple data sources, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Implement robust data validation and cleansing processes to maintain accuracy and integrity.
  • Communicate application solution architectures to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives are executed in alignment with broader technology and business goals/standards.
  • Support end users in using applications for performing daily operations.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in product ownership and business systems analysis with specialization in the Asset
  • Management or Insurance industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Asset Management or Insurance business domains, specifically in terms of data models across the Public and
  • Private asset class trade lifecycles
  • Experience with Asset Management applications such as Aladdin/ADC, Clearwater/LPX, WSO, SS&C PLM, Mercatus, Numerix, TriOptima, Bloomberg AIM, and Duco.
  • Experience with Actuarial applications such as FinX, AON Pathwise, Moody’s Axis and Milliman MG Alfa.
  • Experience working as a Product Manager for a set of applications.
  • Proficiency in data orchestration and workflow automation tools such as Workato or equivalents.
  • Proven expertise in ETL/ELT, data integration concepts with exposure to REST API, Python, Snowflake, SQL Server, XML, JSON, CSV.
  • Practical experience applying modern data frameworks (e.g. Medallion Architecture) to ensure structured and efficient integrations.
  • Experience integrating diverse data sources and services.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills, with the ability to interpret requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience assessing and mitigating risks in data workflows.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance requirements for data protection.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for delivering business value is a plus.
Compensation
  • Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
