Are you a skilled welder with hands-on experience and a passion for supporting clients technically?
Join an international leader in welding solutions as a Welding Application Specialist. You’ll be part of a team of professionals delivering technical expertise and practical solutions to customers across Canada. This role combines hands-on welding experience, troubleshooting, and client support, with opportunities to work with cutting-edge welding technologies.
What You’ll Do:

Provide technical support to customers, partners, and sales teams across Canada.

Conduct weld demonstrations and technical presentations for clients and internal teams.

Facilitate training sessions for customers, partners, and sales staff.

Participate in trade shows and represent the company’s technical capabilities.

Troubleshoot and optimize welding applications on-site or remotely.

Conduct manual and robotic weld tests, documenting results and providing recommendations.

Assist with installation and retro-fit of welding equipment for various welding applications.

Collect and report market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to support continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves):

CWB / ACW certification or equivalent welding qualification.

Minimum 3–5 years hands-on welding experience, preferably in industrial settings.

Expertise in MIG, TIG, Stick welding and knowledge of different materials (steel, aluminum, stainless, etc.).

Experience with robotic welding systems is an asset.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable working independently, often on the road.

Willing and able to travel across Canada as required.

Valid driver’s license.

Fluent in English; French or German is a plus but not mandatory.
Nice-to-Have (Preferred):

Prior experience supporting sales teams in a technical capacity.

Knowledge of welding equipment brands and industrial machinery.

Experience providing client training and demonstrations.

Familiarity with Canadian and international welding standards.
Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary range: $65,000 – $100,000 depending on experience
