Maintenance Technician – Full Time Opportunity
Location: Airport Road, Brampton, ON
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Day (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) or Afternoon (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $28–$35/hour (based on experience)

About the Role
Fuze HR is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced production facility. In this role, you’ll ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely while supporting overall facility maintenance. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with competitive pay reflective of experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Support setup and teardown of production lines
  • Fabricate basic parts and make system adjustments as required
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies
  • Document work orders and maintenance activities
  • Assist with facility maintenance, including building, infrastructure, and utilities
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and work safely
  • Participate in overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as needed
  • Support and potentially train production or maintenance staff
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, micrometer, VOM, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to engage in continuous improvement initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in corrugated or converting manufacturing
  • Familiarity with PLCs, drive controllers, or automated systems
  • Ability to fabricate basic parts or modifications
