About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Process and Production Planner to join a dynamic aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll ensure production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and purchasing teams to plan, coordinate, and optimize workflows for complex aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed process travellers and BOMs for active work orders.

Incorporate and maintain customer drawings, specifications, and requirements.

Utilize 3D modeling and drafting software (CATIA V5 preferred, SolidWorks acceptable) for design and detailing.

Apply knowledge of heat treatment, NDT, and finishing processes used in aerospace.

Ensure compliance with specifications including AMS, ASTM, Bombardier (BAPS, PPS), Airbus, and Military (MIL) standards.

Collaborate with production and engineering to optimize process flow.

Work with purchasing to confirm processes and raw materials.

Partner with quality teams to incorporate improvements and corrective actions.

Manage and coordinate changes to existing work orders.

Release process travellers and drawing packages as required.

Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.

Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.

Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.
Qualifications
-
5–7+ years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, or process planning.

Experience with COSS, Visual, or JobBOSS ERP software.

Strong knowledge of machining, fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes.

Certificate, degree, or formal training in manufacturing, machining, or engineering.
-
Previous aerospace or jobbing shop experience is a strong asset.
