Project Coordinator – Toronto (Temp-to-Perm)
Overview
A leading provider in the display, packaging, and supply chain solutions industry is seeking an entry-level Project Coordinator to join their Toronto team, covering a maternity leave until late 2026/early 2027, with potential to grow into a Project Manager role based on performance and fit. Reporting to the Manager, Client Services, and working closely with Project Managers, the Project Coordinator will support project execution through administrative coordination, order processing, and supply management. The role primarily involves internal coordination, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and supporting production efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Support pre-production planning by reviewing technical specifications, participating in pre-production meetings, and addressing production concerns.

Prepare and enter dockets, work orders, and technical spec sheets for production teams, ensuring clarity and completeness.

Receive, format, and analyze customer forecasts to balance production efficiency and inventory needs.

Order and coordinate client feeder stock to meet production deadlines and delivery dates using a just-in-time approach.

Follow established preproduction procedures and internal documentation/process standards.

Troubleshoot project issues, make informed decisions to keep projects on track, and escalate concerns as needed.

Maintain daily updates to trackers and project documentation.

Collaborate with internal teams (sales, design, warehouse) and occasionally with clients via email (5–10% client-facing).

Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and project efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience

1–2 years of relevant experience in packing, order-processing, or related roles.

Adaptable and eager to learn internal platforms, primarily Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

University or college degree is an asset but not required.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work efficiently under tight timelines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills

Proficiency in Excel for basic formulas, tables, formatting, and comments.

Comfortable working with project/inventory tracking software and internal platforms.

Work Environment & Logistics

Familiarity with packing, pharmaceutical, retail, or supply chain/logistics environments is preferred.

Work hours: 9–5 during training, with flexibility for earlier start times afterward.

Salary: $22/hour (entry-level/junior role with growth potential).
