About the Opportunity
Our client, a major player in the food distribution and packaging sector, is looking for 8 dependable and detail-oriented team members to support both Tote Cleaning and Shipping/Receiving functions. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and contributing to a clean, efficient, and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Tote Cleaning Duties

Clean and sanitize plastic totes, bins, and containers following strict food safety standards

Operate industrial washing equipment and sprayers

Inspect totes for cleanliness, damage, or contamination

Stack and organize cleaned totes for reuse

Maintain a clean workstation and follow all GMP/sanitation protocols
Shipping & Receiving Duties

Perform daily shipping and receiving tasks, including product verification and inspection

Reconcile Bills of Lading and ensure documentation accuracy

Print and apply labels to inbound/outbound products

Support inventory organization and tracking

Ensure products are stored safely and correctly in a warehouse maintained at 18°C

Assist with general warehouse tasks and team coordination
Requirements
-
1–2 years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience preferred

Strong computer skills for documentation and data entry

Valid Health & Safety Certificate required

Able to lift up to 50 lbs safely

Clear background check

Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work overtime Tuesday–Friday when needed

Must have PPE: safety vest and CSA steel-toe boots

Government-issued photo ID required for facility access (mandatory)

Comfortable with repetitive movement, bending, and working in a wet/humid or chilled warehouse area
