Job Summary:
As the Director of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations and strategic decision-making for our organization. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial health and long-term sustainability of our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and systems to support the company's growth and profitability
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Manage the accounting and budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant financial regulation
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and recommendations for operational improvements
- Participate in the development of business plans and strategic initiatives
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing appropriate controls and procedures
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all financial matters
Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior-level finance/accounting role in the hospitality or food service industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting
- Demonstrated track record of driving financial performance and strategic initiatives
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time, permanent position with a hybrid office arrangement, which includes a combination of home office and corporate office time.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a salary range of $70,000-$80,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
