As our Maintenance Leader, you’ll be the go-to expert ensuring our facilities run like clockwork. From leading a skilled team to implementing proactive maintenance strategies, you’ll play a pivotal role in minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.

What are the Responsibilities?
- Lead and inspire the maintenance team; schedule tasks, assign responsibilities, and oversee contractors
- Collaborate with HR on coaching, performance reviews, and succession planning
- Manage work schedules, leave plans, and training certifications
- Spearhead maintenance planning, set up and executive preventative/predictive maintenance, play a critical role in process management and resource allocation
- Keep our CMMS up to date with key data and insights
- Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance with Operations and Process teams
- Oversee spare parts inventory and ensure timely access to tools and materials
- Analyze fault reports and operational data to identify root causes and boost site performance
- Prepare proposals for maintenance investments and present them to leadership
- Source and evaluate vendor quotes for parts, repairs, and service contracts
- Participate in monthly Safety, Health, and Environment inspections
- Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Hold post-secondary education in Maintenance or a related technical field, preference for individuals well-versed in process set up and control. Process Engineers, Industrial Engineers – feel free to apply if you have the appropriate leadership background!
- Present 3+ years of experience in maintenance management, with a background in supervising multiple trades & contractors in day-to-day maintenance activities
- Bring proven leadership experience in supervising teams and daily operations
- Are tech-savvy, with intermediate skills in MS Office, SCADA, and ERP systems
- Hold a valid Driver’s License
- Bonus points if you have experience in waste/sustainable waste processing and you know what “anaerobic digestion” means without Googling it.
