Job Title: Administration / Receptionist

Compensation: $21/hour

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administration/Receptionist for a temporary position lasting 2 to 3 months. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, has a professional phone manner, and is comfortable working in a front-desk environment. You'll play an important role in keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly and providing a welcoming experience to visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Entry: Accurately review and input orders into Sage Business Vision and Sage 300 systems.
  • Customer Communication: Email draft invoices to COD customers as required.
  • Reception Duties: Greet all visitors and direct them to the appropriate departments.
  • Phone Handling: Manage incoming calls using switchboard operations; ensure clear and professional communication.
  • Mail & Deliveries: Accept and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
  • Office Supply Management: Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
  • General Admin Tasks: Collect and scan packing slips/work orders, filing, basic invoicing, and other admin tasks as assigned.
Requirements:

  • Proficient typing skills.
  • Excellent spoken English; must be comfortable communicating with customers over the phone.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with strong organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):

  • Experience using Sage Business Vision – Version 2019.
  • Experience using Sage 300 – Premium Version 2024.
