Position: Business Development Representative – Remote – Ottawa
Compensation: 80-95k base salary, 25% performance bonus
We are looking for a motivated BDR to join our Sales team and build strong relationships with channel partners to meet and exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new channel partners.
- Schedule and conduct customer meetings to present products, solutions, and services.
- Demonstrate product features, articulate value propositions, and handle objections.
- Follow up regularly on open opportunities and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Negotiate sales agreements and close opportunities.
- Document account activities and customer information in CRM.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support strategy.
- Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends; provide training to customers.
- Manage a designated sales territory, including planning efficient travel schedules.
- Collaborate with marketing, inside sales, and product development teams.
- Provide feedback to improve products, processes, and services.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Proven negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Fully bilingual in English and French, with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Valid driver’s license and personal motor vehicle.
