As a Design Engineer within the Structural team, you’ll contribute to a range of complex and high-profile projects—including high-rise and residential towers, parking structures, and recreational facilities. You’ll apply your technical knowledge to design safe, efficient, and innovative structural systems, while working alongside some of the most experienced engineers in the field.

What You’ll Do
- Perform structural analysis and detailed design for a wide range of building types: residential, commercial, institutional, and heritage.
- Develop preliminary structural concepts and support projects from design through to completion.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Conduct design reviews and quality checks on work completed by peers.
- Maintain clear and accurate design and checking documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
- Eligible for registration as a P.Eng. with a Canadian engineering association.
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, ideally in building design.
- Strong knowledge of concrete and steel design; familiarity with timber, masonry, or tilt-up construction is an asset.
- Experience designing mid-rise wood frame, mass timber connections, structural steel, and concrete transfer slabs.
- Proficiency with structural analysis tools (SAP2000, SAFE, ETABS preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
