Human Resources & Payroll Administrator

Are you passionate about creating a positive workplace culture and ensuring seamless payroll operations? We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources & Payroll Administrator to join our Industrial Solutions team. In this on-site role, reporting directly to the HR Director, you will play a key part in supporting HR initiatives, managing payroll functions, and contributing to a strong Health & Safety culture.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support Recruitment & Onboarding – Collaborate with HR and local managers to coordinate recruitment efforts, schedule interviews, conduct background checks, and facilitate smooth onboarding for new employees.
  • Manage Payroll & Compliance – Ensure payroll accuracy, process employee verifications, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Enhance Employee Experience – Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, benefits administration, and training and development support.
  • Act as an HR Liaison – Address payroll inquiries, provide HR guidance to operations, and uphold best practices in employee relations.
  • Champion Diversity & Inclusion – Support initiatives that foster an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming work environment.

  • Professional & Ethical – Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity in all aspects of HR and payroll.
  • Tech-Savvy & Adaptable – Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn HRIS and payroll systems.

What You Bring:

  • Education: A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in an HR role, with payroll experience considered an asset.
  • Certifications: CHRP designation or payroll certification is a plus.
  • Systems Knowledge: Experience with ADP payroll systems and familiarity with US employment laws is advantageous.
