We are currently seeking a talented Corporate Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and will be responsible for key corporate accounting functions. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a strong analytical mindset and an eagerness to contribute to the financial operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Perform pre-month-end and month-end variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Post journal entries, review trial balances, and ensure proper account classification.
• Assist with the integration of acquired companies’ financials into the company’s systems and processes.
• Record acquisition-related journal entries, including adjustments and intercompany eliminations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external regulations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and resolving queries.
• Collaborate with the finance team to strengthen internal controls with a focus on documentation, automation, and standardization.
• Develop effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the finance team to share best practices and improve efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency.
• Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial workflows.
• Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
• Participate in special projects, including system implementations and M&A activities.
Qualifications:
- CPA Designation or equivalent qualification.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Continuous improvement mindset and superior organizational skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with integrated ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Ability to identify key projects and execute process improvement initiatives.
