Warehouse Supervisor – Lachine, QC (Day)

We are seeking an Warehouse Supervisor (inbound)) for our client located in Lachine, QC. The supervisor will manage a team of 20 employees directly with the Receiving team. The supervisor will also manage performance, daily workload and tardiness. This person will be a key factor for the success of the receiving team and act as a Leader.

Salary: 50-55K

Schedule: Day shift (06h30-15h00)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and fulfill on-site recruitment and staffing requirements and projects.
• Supervise daily arrivals and breaks
• Complete and review daily reports with management (performance, absences)
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed
• Answer all employee questions regarding timesheets, payroll, etc.
• Address/correct performance issues, delays with employees.
• Oversee the team transfer before departure
• Forklift Certification (asset)
• Other related tasks, if applicable

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-3 years in a similar warehouse environment
• Bilingual is ideal
• Capable to manage different teams
• Capable to motivate a team
• Able to lend a hand at times
• Capable to drive a forklift (Raymond Reach) – Certification can be provided by the employer.
