What are some of the responsibilities of the Demand Planner:
• Develop Consensus Forecasts for new, existing & exiting products
•Develop and maintain 24 months rolling forecast utilizing forecasting system and, driving IBP planning process
•Performs appropriate Statistical Analysis using shipment, consumption, and other sources of data
•Works closely with Marketing and Sales to devise, prepare, and establish New Product Forecasts
•Assists in preparing appropriate cannibalization assumptions
•Provides system support around forecasting setup, maintenance, and general product hierarchy and makes recommendations for improvements
• Projects and other duties assigned by leadership
The required qualifications of Demand Planner:
•3-5 years of experience in CPG environment within Demand Planning, Logistics, Production Planning, Supply Chain processes or Inventory Management.
•Prior experience in forecasting and demand planning in fast-moving consumer packaged goods environment an asset.
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Management Science, Mathematics or Statistics is an asset
Strong analytical skills
•Strong understanding of the CPG industry, innovation, route to market logistics, sales and brand marketing planning and developing building blocks
•Highly effective written and verbal communications skills, comfortable presenting to Senior Leadership
• Advanced skills in MS Office
