About the opportunity: Fuze HR Solutions is immediately interviewing Field Service Technicians for a dynamic and rapidly expanding industrial machine building company headquartered in Mississauga. As this company continues to grow they are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join the team.

Position Overview: As the Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of industrial machinery at client sites. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and troubleshoot industrial machinery at client locations.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment functionality.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with the internal/external teams to provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Provide training and support to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Document service activities, including reports, logs, and parts used.
• Travel to client sites as needed, both locally and in the USA.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.
• Prior experience with Allan-Bradley, Siemens, ABB controls and drives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.
