We are currently hiring for an experienced Freight Pricing and Audit Specialist. A successful candidate will be equally as comfortable working in a dispatch environment and office environment. The working environment can include significant time spent on a computer and/or on the phone. A self-starter with initiative, the ability to work with minimal direction, strong time management and multitasking abilities is critical.

Salary: $23/ hour ($48,000/year)

Shift: 8:30 am – 5:00pm

Vacation: 2 weeks

When position becomes Permanent the following are offered:

Pension: 2% company matching

Profit Sharing: 5% yearly Bonus

Duties and responsibilities

Customer facing rate and audit maintenance.

• Audit all pros that fall into the queues except queue O and 9 which belong to the Billing team.
• Look after queues to capture multiple customer exceptions which we are unable to enter into LTL/400. (A list of exceptions we look for is available if needed)
• Provide all spot quotes as requested by the customers.
• Process Carrier notifications.
• Audit all customer short payment disputes (accounting sends the disputes to rating team to figure out why pros are short paid and to fix).
• Updates / correct pros as needed or requested by other departments.
• Audit Carrier payables as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

This position must understand math principals and how they relate to LTL transportation. Complete knowledge on how freight moves and is priced in the Canadian market.

Qualifications include:

• Secondary School with some college.
• Multitasking including various projects at the same time.
• LTL/400 or other TMS knowledge.
• Mandatory knowledge of Excel.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• At least 2 years in a Logistics capacity.
