Gas Technicians – Halifax, NS

We are looking for a Gas Technician with a Gas A or B Licence to join our Halifax Team!

Responsibilities:

• Boilers and Gas System diagnostics, troubleshooting and problem resolution.

• Test combustion equipment and controls for issues.

• Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components using electrical and mechanical testing equipment.

• Replace defective parts and reassemble repaired systems.

• Observe and test system operation using gauges and test instruments and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe and reliable system operations.

• Estimate, order and install materials and supplies needed to maintain equipment in good working condition.

• Keep accurate records of repairs and replacements made and cause of malfunction.

Requirements:

• Gas Tech A preferred. Gas Tech 2 is a minimum requirement.

• Oil Burner license (asset).

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

• Must be willing to work on the road.

• HVAC experience (asset).
