Transportation Planner

We are actively interviewing for a Transportation Planner for one of our clients located in the GTA area. If you have 7+ Years experience in Transportation and Carrier management with Ocean Freight Management experience this could be the role for you. Interested? Read on….

What are some of the responsibilities of the Transportation Planner:

•Support daily flow of inbound and outbound shipments

•Track and trace of inbound/outbound shipments

•Coordinate/track international shipments with assigned carriers/forwarders, facilitate booking process where needed

•Monitor and solve customs clearances

•Projects and other duties assigned by leadership

The required qualifications of Transportation Planner:

•Post secondary education in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience

•7+ Years experience in Transportation and Carrier management

•2 years of Canadian and US experience

•Ocean Freight management experience is an asset

•Working knowledge of 3PL management

•Strong analytical and reporting skills

•Advanced skills in MS Office

•Strong communications skills

•Able to go into the office 3 days a week
