The required qualifications for the Technical Sales and implementation specialist:

  • Must possess strong sales negotiating skills with a high focus on customer service
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain excellent relationships with growers
  • Ability to maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to problem-solve with minimal oversight
  • Self-motivated and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to train others on products
  • Working knowledge of G Suite or Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in HubSpot, or other CRM tools
  • Travel required must be able to travel 15-20%

Your tasks as a Technical Sales and Implementation specialist:

  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Support new clients during the onboarding phase
  • Perform training sessions with greenhouse owners, growers, etc.
  • Collaborate on the creation of training materials for all company products
  • Participate in our global presence within trade shows and industry events
  • Provide agronomic and technical sales support as well as training to key accounts and distributors
  • Develop positive relationships with clients
  • Act as the point of contact and handle clients’ individual needs
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients in a timely manner
  • Supervise existing accounts to ensure sales increase
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions
