Functions & Responsibilities:
EXPERIENCE
Warehousing and Food Industry
·TRAINING
·Forklift Certification
·SQF On-board Training
·HACCP Certified
RESPONSIBILITIES (SQF code requirements)
·Fills in for Warehouse Supervisor, as required
·Works side by side with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure the day-to-day operation is successful
·Supervision of Material Handlers; as delegated by the Warehouse Supervisor
·Team lead on the floor
·Forklift Operation; as required
·Inbound Receiving/ Outbound Picking/ Loading; as required
·Responsible for printing LPN labels that include the Customer Name/ PO #’s for all inbound receiving; printing to be done in real time; as required
Accurate scanning of all inbound/outbound loads, based on customer SOP; as required
·Responsible for Inventory Management; cycle counts, physical inventory counts
·Physical warehouse inspections as per Sanitation and Facility Maintenance SOPs (sanitation, facility maintenance required)
·Assist with auditing of all Inbound Receiving, Outbound picks and Trailer Inspection Reports, as required
·Support warehouse clerk, if necessary, to successfully submit inbound/ outbound and receiving reports, to the warehouse supervisor, in a timely fashion, based on customer SOP
·Assist Warehouse Supervisor with auditing of Inbound Receiving, Outbound Picks, BOLs and Trailer Inspection reports; ensuring all mandatory information is completed
·Assist Warehouse Supervisor with sending all daily paperwork to Heritage Admin staff
·Leads team for all SQF protocols and promotes continuous improvement for Food Safety
Other warehouse duties as directed by leadership
Qualifications—Skills and Competencies:
·High school Diploma
·Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite, word, excel etc..
·HCCAP Knowledge & Training an Asset
·Detail oriented with the ability to read drawings and data
·Forklift Certificate Reach Truck & Counterbalance
·Leadership qualities
