Main tasks of the TAC Support Specialist :

  • Provides technical support to end users of computer applications, software and hardware
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues received from end users.
  • Assesses and prioritizes resolutions based on level of impact to the business.
  • Communicates critical information regarding systems interruptions and problems to end users.
  • Completes User Support logs within defined service level agreement timeframes.
  • All other related tasks

Requirements for the TAC Support Specialist :

· Knowledge of computer software, applications & hardware

· Knowledge of ITIL3/4 standards

· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve telecommunications issues

· Triage incidents and services requests

· Analytical and problem solving skills

· Excellent customer service skills

· Strong written and oral communication skills

· High school diploma or Post secondary education
