Description – Structural Fitter

Structural steel fitters fabricate, assemble and fit metal components such has pump frames, skid frames, ladders, platforms, handrail and tanks, working in Carbon steel, stainless steel & aluminum.

Your Expertise:

• Certificate of Qualification or diploma for structural steel/ plate work fitting is preferred
• CWB certification in FCAW, MCAW or GMAW is an asset
• Self-starter with the ability to cut, layout, drill or punch
• Ability to fit structural sections/materials in accordance to drawings, specifications and tolerances
• Able to read and work of blue prints and fabrication drawings
• Have an understanding of weld symbols
• Up to date overhead and forklift certification is an asset
• Must have good attitude and understand that safety always comes first.
• Must have experience with hand tools, grinders

Description- Welder

Welder will weld metal components such has pump frames, skid frames, ladders, platforms, handrail and tanks, working in Carbon steel, stainless steel & aluminum.

Required Knowledge and skills

• Certificate of Qualification or diploma for welding is preferred
• Able to weld stainless steel and carbon steel in FCAW, MCAW, GMAW
• CWB certification in FCAW, MCAW or GMAW
• Self-starter with the ability to weld and clean finished products in an accordance to drawings, specification and approved welding procedures
• Able to read and work of blue prints and fabrication drawings
• Have an understanding of weld symbols
• Up to date overhead and forklift certification is an asset
• Must have good attitude and understand that safety always comes first.
• Must have experience with hand tools, grinders
