The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for:

• Lead and mentor a team managing messaging systems.
• Manage messaging infrastructure, including various services like Exchange, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
• Expertise in Exchange Server, versions 2013 to 2019, with a focus on troubleshooting and implementation of Database Availability Groups (DAGs).
• Administer secure access through Ping SSO and Ping Federate for smooth user experiences.
• Monitor and protect network shares and data proactively.
• Maintain Veritas Enterprise Vault for email archiving and compliance.
• Oversee email security (DLP and Threat Protection) to defend against cyber threats.
• Manage Barracuda Email Security Gateway for enhanced email security.
• Implement data protection best practices, including regular backups.
• Resolve Windows Server issues and manage monthly patching via SCCM.
• Maintain Active Directory for Microsoft 365 and Exchange On-prem.
• Utilize scripting and automation skills, especially PowerShell and PowerCLI.
• Contribute to projects, including creating technical architecture documentation.

The required qualifications for the Senior Systems Engineer are:

• 6+ years’ experience in senior technical roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of critical systems and operations.
• 6+ years of experience supporting mission-critical services, ensuring uninterrupted business operations.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in scripting with PowerShell, enabling efficient automation and management of IT tasks.
• 3+ years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-level IT solutions, contributing to organizational success.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Backup Technology, including proficiency with solutions like Rubrik, enhancing data protection and recovery capabilities.
