This position requires a self-motivated team player who will be responsible for providing overall support to the Creative team, Brand team, and Sales teams through the use of visual graphics as it relates to the different brands. Incumbents will work closely in a team with Graphic designers, Creative leads, Production artists, Web designers, Video editors, Copywriters, Brand managers, and Creative directors. The ability to conceptualize and take creative initiative on advertising and marketing campaigns involving all media (print and digital) is necessary. Strong design sensibilities and typography skills as they pertain to packaging design and various creative marketing materials. This position also requires effective communication and organizational skills. Must be comfortable collaborating within a team but also motivated to work independently. Must be able to receive information through a brief and produce high-quality design work that delivers on the brief as it relates to creative objectives, strategies, and goals.

Experience & Skillset:

·Post-Secondary Education in Graphic Design or related field

·Min. 4 years of related experience preferably within a consumer-packaged goods environment

  • Superior computer skills in the most current versions of Macintosh OSX
  • Knowledge of desktop publishing and graphics software (Adobe Suite), including but not limited to InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, MS Office
  • Strong knowledge of graphic design, as it applies to branding, packaging design, print material, advertising, and digital design
  • Extensive experience in product label design is an asset
  • Strong design sensibilities and technical abilities when it comes to layout and typography

·Ability to select and manipulate imagery as per directed

·Animation, motion graphics, and video editing are considered an asset

·Meet with internal team members and Creative Leads to determine requirements and vision for design elements, which may include multiple strategy and brainstorm meetings.

·Ability to manage workload and multi-task while adapting to constant change within a fast-paced and energetic work environment

·Strong time management skills having to manage various deadlines

  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to follow briefs and deliver high-quality and detailed work
  • Ability to brainstorm creative ideas from concept to final output
  • Ability to receive feedback as well as make creative recommendations when circulating projects for review and approval
  • Experience working with social content and within the digital landscape
