Our client, a leading Manufacturing company located in Mississauga is eager to hire a Senior Engineering Manager to start immediately.

Your tasks as the Senior Engineering Manager:

Directs production employees in the execution of their day-to-day responsibilities.

·Lead the engineering department.

·Manage a team of 11 employees

·Ability to work with / proficiency in Inventor, AutoCAD.

·Ability to lead and participate in Engineering design review meetings

·Able to plan and manage team activities to meet project, department & company objectives, prepare project schedules and status reports, review project drawings before release, identify potential problems and take corrective action

·Investigate complex application problems. liaise with customers, production, and vendors, implement engineering change orders.

·Liaise between Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Purchasing & Production to maintain project timelines, minimise rework, build efficiencies and manage risk in projects

·Liaises with Maintenance as required to make adjustments to process equipment and assist Maintenance to repair breakdowns to machinery and equipment

·Other duties assigned

The required qualifications of the Senior Engineering Manager:

·Ten to twelve years experience with 4-5 years experience as a manager within Manufacturing

  • Experience with inventor and autoCAD

·Engineering degree

·Manage a team of 11

·Mechanical & Electrical Engineering design experience

·Excellent organizational skills and communication skills

·Hold a valid passport and have the ability to travel to customer sites, trade show and exhibitions worldwide
