SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, DEVELOPMENT
The successful candidate will be a key member of a goal-oriented team within a firm that has a winning culture which prioritizes personal development and focuses on long-term growth. RESPONSIBLITIES
Reporting directly to the Vice President, Development, the candidate shall be responsible for joint oversight and the overall advancement of all of the Firms developments, including:
· Advancing all aspects of the project including visioning and execution for development approvals, site servicing construction, building permits and other similar responsibilities
· Providing the Vice President, Development with timely and accurate reporting for projects including scheduling and budget updates
· Leading effective and efficient meetings with internal management, external consulting teams, municipal staff, other agency stakeholders and others
· Ensuring in the short term that the milestones to deliver project approvals and infrastructure are met along with multiple developments scheduled for imminent construction
· Identifying project risk and leading mitigation efforts
· Preparing project budgets and schedules and working closely with our senior management team to ensure deliverables are on time and on budget
· Assisting the Vice President, Development with the creation and update of pro-forma financial models
· Researching and collecting information for pro-forma models and potential new opportunities
· Liaising with internal and external groups to gather supporting details and information for various development projects/opportunities
· Providing analytical support to Development for monthly reporting and accruals
· Coordinating on site construction services, meetings on site and reporting back to management
· Letter of Credit reduction on completed projects
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE YOU
· Possess an undergraduate degree in Planning, Engineering or related discipline
· Have 7 to 10 years experience in a real estate, planning, engineering or a professional advisory firm
· Have strong communication, reporting and management skills with an ability to lead consulting teams with minimal direction from the Vice President, Development
· Previous experience in delivering residential projects (low-rise, mid-rise, high-rise, mixed-use)
· Are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (proforma creation and budget analysis) and Microsoft Project (project schedule preparation and updates)
· Thrive in organizations that constantly evolve and adapt new processes

· Have exceptional time management skills to ensure that all critical and non critical activities are scheduled on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
