Senior Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner
We are on the hunt for a qualified Senior Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)!! The successful candidate will report directly to the HRBP Director. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), People & Culture works as a strategic partner and internal advisor who is responsible for certain organizational segments. The goal of the HRBP is to drive initiatives that impact employee engagement, business effectiveness, talent management, employee/labour relations, performance, operational efficiency, and culture.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with the leaders to identify and understand the strategic people issues specific to the assigned business segments and provide solutions by developing short- and long-term business action plans
- Act as an advisor by providing expertise and/or coaching on confidential HR matters
- Execute and manage various programs i.e. employee engagement campaigns, succession and performance plans, rewards/recognition/compensation programs
- Promote a culture of inclusion with an emphasis diversity and inclusion
- Develop strategies to increase talent retention
- Analyze turnover and engagement trends using KPI metrics; develop proactive actions to support business unit objectives
- Manage specific projects as determined by the HR Leadership team
- Work with Operations and Risk Management teams to handle WCB/WSIB claims and facilitate return-to-work processes
- Facilitating job evaluations with business leaders to ensure consistency and equity
- Consult legal counsel, to ensure legal compliance in sensitive matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related post-secondary equivalent; SHRM/CPHR or other related professional certification is an asset
- 6-8 years of HR experience
- Expertise in HR disciplines including performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, talent management and compensation
- Ability to develop creative solutions to complex HR issues
- Strong consultative, influencing and negotiation skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual French and English (written and spoken) required
