Job Description

Our client is a leader in the Real Estate industry specializing in a combination of high, and low rise development as well as Multi Family Asset Management. They are looking for an outgoing and driven individual to join their team, looking to grow and add value long term. This person will work with the investments & financing team whilst interacting regularly with various divisions of the company while also communicating with outside investors on a periodic basis

Duties include:

• Liaise with Development, Acquisitions, Finance, Construction and Sales & Marketing teams to ensure financial and non-financial inputs and assumptions are current and accurate
• Quarterly calculation and preparation of investor cash distributions, calculation of project IRR’s, preparation of investor capital calls and forecasting of future capital requirements
• Preparing, collecting and distributing due diligence items for lenders
• Ad-hoc analysis of special projects

• Co-ordinate information from various divisions in order to develop, prepare and distribute detailed quarterly project reports to our equity partners
• Ownership of the standard land development and Multi-Family pro forma financial model, continuous enhancements and maintenance
• Review overall project budgets, update pro forma financial models, on-going estimated cost-to-complete budgets and cash flow forecasts (including variance analysis)


• Excellent research, analytical and quantitative skills
• Advanced level of skill working in Excel, specifically building flexible financial models.
• Demonstrated thoroughness and extreme attention to detail especially within Powerpoint

• Well-developed communication skills: listening, verbal and written
• Business, financial acumen and an owner’s mindset
• Team collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritizing and meeting tight deadlines

• Bachelor degree in real estate, finance, (MBA or CFA would be an asset).
