Senior Account Manager – Commercial Enterprise

Responsibilities of a Senior Account Manager include:

  • Engage with internal/external stakeholders (the Insurance Company, the Account Executive, Marketing, etc.) to successfully renew client accounts
  • Refer clients to other lines of business by making introductions to respective colleagues/teams
  • Guide and/or instruct junior support staff as required for the overall success of the team
  • Prepare and issue policies, certificates of insurance, invoices and client correspondence as required
  • Support company’s financial trajectory by invoicing, collecting payments, and reconciling accounts when needed
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize growth within your accounts
  • Manage a seamless client experience by ensuring required documentation is made via online tools
  • Understand each client’s risk management needs, and recommend appropriate insurance coverage
  • Be certain that each client is confident in their choice of broker, insurer(s) and solutions
  • Continue to be an expert by keeping yourself up-to-date on industry trends and solutions, to ensure clients are fully informed and equipped with relevant information
  • Understand quarterly deliverables
  • Meet retention targets
  • Be able to audit files thoroughly

Senior Account Manager Requirements:

  • Obtained your Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario license
  • Minimum 5 years as an Account Manager in an insurance brokerage/company
  • Skills: A team player with an emphasis on the client experience
  • Comfortable with managing multiple demands in a timely fashion
  • Skilled at prioritizing, organizing, and efficiently using your time
