Our client based in Kitchener Ontario, has an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor or an industry experienced individual looking for the next step to join the team. Be part of one of the largest Distribution & Warehousing groups in Canada & the US

Functions & Responsibilities:

·Overall maintenance, warehouse and/or dock areas in a clean and orderly condition. sanitation of work areas.

·Disinfection and cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass.

·Comply with OSHA standards, safety procedures.

·Clean or wash trailers and/or railcars as required.

·Ability to follow all safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams.

·Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals, janitorial techniques.

·Clear Debris within the warehouse

·May be required to use cleaning equipment such as steamers, floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners.

·Ability to work the Afternoon & Weekends shift.

·Collect Garbage cans from around the site.

·Product clean up, Mopping and sweeping.

·Clearing up broken and damaged skids and plastic

·Clean roof, fans, ceilings, Beams using specific procedures as directed. Follow specific instructions to clean flour handling equipment.

·Perform all responsibilities following established GMP, Food Safety, and Health & Safety policies and procedures.

·Keep accurate records of cleaning performed.

·Inspect areas requiring attention.

·Keep Area Leader/Supervisor informed of any unsanitary practices that may be occurring in the plant.

·Follow sanitation procedures during changeovers.

·Create a continuous improvement environment by improving products, service, and processes with the objective to reduce waste within the area while striving for efficiency and profitability.

·Perform duties assigned from the Master Cleaning Schedule. Inspect areas requiring attention.

·Job duties are varied and spread over a number of locations in the warehouse. Therefore, special assignments may be created on a case-by case basis.

·Perform daily and down day assignments as scheduled by supervision as well as all other related assignments including assisting and training of other associates as required by Supervision.

Qualifications—Skills and Competencies:

·High school Diploma

·Skyjack, Fall assist, Forklift & WHIMIS training will be provided

·CLIENT IS WILLING TO TRAIN ON ALL CERTIFICATIONS

·Will be required to bend, lift, kneel, crouch

·Can work in a cold storage environment.

·The noise level in the warehouse is usually moderate
