Job Description

Our client is a Fortune 500 company and a global leader in labeling and packaging materials and solutions. Presently, they are searching a Service Consultant for a Sales Enablement Specialist to join their team.

Responsibilities

· Create reports / Analysis of categories, POS, Inventories and Sales data for category reviews and/or seasonal opportunities

· Assist in development of category / channel and customer strategies

· Assembly of presentations (and support at / during presentations as required)

· Prepare retail audits & scripting orders

· Setup of layout proposals for Planograms/Modulars

· Work with Sales Administration Supervisor to populate forecast changes in system

· Attend customer meetings for: Category Reviews, Business Reviews & Seasonal opportunities

· Liaison new customer set up (ie: pricing/programs/terms/sku mapping) with Customer Service

· Support and assist with the Annual Financial planning process by coordinating systemic reports to be used to determine future business goals/plans/targets

· Assist the Sales Admin Supervisor to prepare and upload POS data files into Avery systems

· Prepare new sku set up forms (manual & digital upload) & coordinate internal sku mapping with Customer Service

· Coordinate related materials for Trade Shows / Training symposiums / In person & virtual events

· Dissemination of product and pricing information to Sales team for action

· Maintain relationships with assigned ‘inside sales” accounts

· Requisitioning samples for presentations

· Coordinate sampling programs, ie. Amazon Vine, as appropriate

· Coordinate the execution of visual merchandising projects

· Coordinate the creation of appropriate assets (copy, images, art files)

· Coordinate the reviewing content for customer websites and/or printed assets

· Coordinate the maintenance of customer-specific imagery on assets.avery.ca

· Maintain activity grids and/or event calendars, listings, planogram/modular files, schematics, pricing Ladders & retail pricing trackers

· Participate and contribute at cross functional and team meetings: displays, service, etc.

· Maintain list of customer websites where Avery items are represented, along with contact personnel at customers to help maintain this information

· Adhere to safe work practices, instructions and rules. Perform work duties in a manner that ensures health and safety of all employees.

· Ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures as outlined in Bill 198, CCL financial policies & applicable tax regulations

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal/external customers.

Qualifications

· College Certificate/Diploma in Marketing/Business, Bachelors Degree preferred

· Minimum of 3 – 5 years in a sales/marketing/trade marketing with retail experience

· Strong project management experience

Excellent oral, presentation & written communication skills

· Advanced Computer Skills required: Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook

· Strong analytical skills, research and report writing skills

· Ability to retrieve, analyze and manipulate data

· Ability to develop reports to analyze shipments/sales trends/inventory needs

· Project management experience

· Experience with forecasting principles

· Experience with the principles of retail category management /reviews (pricing, margins, POS, promotion and display)

· Ability to quickly learn new products and software

· Ability to produce a high volume of quality work and drive results

· Possesses teamwork, leadership and facilitation skills

· Travel required for customer meetings

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs required for POG setups and trade shows

· Bilingualism is preferred (English/French)
