Join our client as a Regional Business Development Manager who is at the forefront of delivering premium quality fresh and frozen meat products that elevate dining experiences at every table.
Role Overview:
As the Regional Sales Manager for Quebec, you will spearhead sales and market expansion, while collaborating closely with the Sales Director and Marketing team, you’ll develop and implement strategic sales initiatives, ensuring top-tier performance and fostering robust customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies with the Sales Director and Marketing team. Identify and act on opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and capture new business.
- Leadership & Team Management: Be capable of leading, motivating, and manage a sales team of 1-2 to meet and surpass performance goals. Ensure your team is well-trained and aligned with business objectives, maintaining robust performance metrics and reporting.
- Customer & Distribution Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients and distributors. Oversee major accounts, ensure timely deliveries, and manage inventory levels to meet customer demands.
- Performance Monitoring: Drive achievement of financial, customer, and product goals. Monitor accounts receivable and improve cash flow while keeping the Sales Director informed of all key developments.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue growth opportunities. Collaborate with other teams to explore new product ventures and leverage market intelligence to stay ahead of competitors.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience in the North American or global food services industry, with a focus on fresh and frozen meat categories preferred. (Beef and Lamb)
- Proven track record in strategic planning, contract negotiation, and managing sales goals.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop and manage key business relationships.
- Expertise in marketing strategy, promotional campaigns, and team leadership.
- Fluent in English and French with excellent communication skills.
