Red Seal Millwright

On behalf of our client, we are looking to hire a Red Seal Millwrights for a manufacturing plant in Langley. This role would be a rotating shift for 12 hours for 2 days, 2 nights on 4 days off working on AM (7 AM to 7 PM) and Graveyard (7 PM to 7 AM) shifts. The shift will be any day between Monday and Friday. This is a full-time permanent position with great perks and benefits. There are multiple locations throughout Canada with over 700 employees.

Your tasks as a Millwright:

• Routine maintenance and repair on of all Plant equipment including but not limited to; pulpers, extruders, thermo-forming machines, printers, padders, screw compressors, pumps, fans and blower

• Tool changes and machine setup

• Welding, lathe & milling work

• Support machine operator

• Troubleshoot and maintain the plant’s electrical, electronic and instrumentation systems

• Working on Conveyors, PLC, assisted control panels, gearboxes, pumps (water, HVAC),

The required qualifications of a Millwright:

• Red Seal Millwright

• Manufacturing and pulp & paper industry asset

• Physically fit

• Ability to work morning and graveyard shift

• PLC experience is an asset

• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Welding, lathe & milling work
