Our client is the world leader in the design, development, manufacture and commercialization of advanced plasma processes. They provide engineering and manufacturing expertise, cutting-edge contract research. This exciting company is looking for a Receptionist for an undetermined time


  • Able to manage a medium volume of incoming calls
  • Answer general phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Direct phone inquiries appropriately
  • Project a positive image of in all interactions with guests and staff
  • Manage service calls, if required for the coffee machine, photocopier, vending machine, etc.
  • Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate department/person in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assist in planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and conference calls
  • Opening, sorting, and distributing correspondence, including email and faxes
  • Accurate data entry, scheduling and calendar maintenance
  • Filing, and typing of various office documents


  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a receptionist or administrative in a related field
  • Intermediate to advanced level of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • PowerPoint, Publisher would be an asset
  • Outstanding customer service/public relation skills
  • Confident, outgoing, friendly and a “can-do attitude”
  • Strong organizational and management skills priorities
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Resourceful and ability to react to urgent situations
  • Bilingual (written and spoken French & English)
