Quality Manager

Fuze HR Solutions is currently interviewing for a Quality Manager opportunity in the North York area. As the Quality Manager for this highly successful manufacturing company you will be responsible for the following main duties…

• Lead a team of Quality Assurance professionals
• Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management system
• Act as the primary contact with external agencies, quality audits, customers, and supplier quality departments
• Work with plant operations team members related to quality, improvements, initiatives, etc
• Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and solutions related to quality issues
• Complete reports on quality metrics, trends, and other quality related matters

What are we looking for in a ideal Quality Manager?

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3-5 years experience in a quality assurance leadership role
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification considered an asset
• HACCP and GMP certifications considered a strong asset
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to lead a team, resolve conflict and coach team members
• Ability to develop buy-in from individuals (internal & external) and maintain strong working relationships
• Customer & consumer focused
