Our client, a manufacture in Mississauga is looking for a Purchasing Supervisor. This is a new role to the organization, and they are looking for an experienced, driven individual who is looking to make their mark. If you have 5+ years of experience within a procurement, this role could be fore you.

Your tasks as Purchasing Supervisor:

·Overseeing a group of 6 (Buyers, Buyer Assistants and Logistics). Managing daily activities and allocating tasks to the team and Training of new staff hires

·This role reports to the Director of Supply Chain and working together to develop, implement and execute purchasing process’

·Implementing purchasing strategies for the organization

·Working closely with suppliers and managing relationships, pricing, contracts and more

·Collaborating with the production team to ensure inventory needs met

·Preparing and managing department budgets

·Project related tasks

The required qualifications for the Purchasing Supervisor:

·Post secondary education (College or University)

·Minimum of 5 years of experience working in procurement

·Excellent MS Office Skills

·Experience working in ERP systems

·International experience with sourcing and business relations is preferred
