Fuze HR is currently hiring for multiple roles for Production Associates- Electronic assembly located in Markham and Mississauga

Production Associates: Multiple Positions

Preferred Experience for all roles:

• Electronics Manufacturing experience preferred

• Ability to read and understand assembly documentation

• Strong understanding and application of workmanship standards

• Individual should be detail oriented, quality conscious, well organized, analytical and reliable

• Able to lift-up to 25 lbs.

ROLE # 1: Material Handlers

As a Material Handler you will be responsible for kitting, material handling and inventory adjustments for parts and materials used in electronic manufacturing.

• Kitting

• Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies such as shortages and lost and found parts

• Communicates inventory issues and adjustment to Supply Chain, manufacturing and engineering

• Perform Inventory adjustments

• Return audit functions and stocking of parts

• Use of scale and reel counter

• Use inventory storage systems such as First-in-First-out (FIFO)

• Package and label parts

• Move/create bin boxes and perform cycle counts

• Receive parts with Manufacturing Part Number and Creation Part Number Validation

• Issue parts in Oracle

• Complete disposition as assigned in any non-conformance report

• Complete actions from Engineering Change Order regarding inventory disposition

• Complete actions related to Project Closing Procedure / Inventory write-offs and customer sales orders for part purchases

ROLE # 2: Manual Assemblers

As a Manual Assembly Production Associate, you will be responsible for the through-hole and mechanical assembly of printed circuit boards and assemblies.

• Set-up and use of parts prepping machines such as axial and radial cutters

• PCB masking using liquid mask and Kapton tape

• PCB depanelization using the pizza cutter and nibbler

• Mechanical assembly using the basic hand tools; ID of hardware components

• Push-button testing

ROLE # 3: Mechanical Assemblers

As a Manual Assembly Production Associate, you will be responsible for the through-hole and mechanical assembly of printed circuit boards and assemblies.

• Set-up and use of parts prepping machines such as axial and radial cutters

• PCB masking using liquid mask and Kapton tape

• PCB depanelization using the pizza cutter and nibbler

• Mechanical assembly using the basic hand tools; ID of hardware components

• Push-button testing

• Experience working on SMT/TH or Mix Tech assemblies as per IPC A-610 standard is essential

ROLE # 4: Inspector/QC Associates

As a Cell Inspector you will be responsible to inspect electronic assemblies with through hole and surface mount components.

• Inspect electronic assemblies with through hole and surface mount components

• Operate the X-Ray Machine as required

• Inspection experience essential

• Knowledge of IPC A- 610 – Acceptability of Electronic Assembly is essential, certification preferred

ROLE # 5: Hand Soldering Associates

As a Hand Solder Standard Production Associate, you will be responsible for the soldering and rework of Through-hole and larger SMT components.

• Soldering of Axial and Radial leaded components

• Soldering of Through-hole connectors, Single In-line and Dual In-line Packages

• Soldering of 0603 or larger chip components and Metal Electrode Leadless Faces

• Soldering of 25 mils (0.025 in.) and above, SOICs and PLCCs

• Rework and repair using Hot Air Reflow and other de-soldering tools

• Soldering of 0402 chip components or smaller

ROLE # 6: Test Technicians

As a Standard Test Technician, you will be responsible for the functional testing of printed circuit board assemblies using test fixtures, test programs and measuring equipment.

• Perform functional test of printed circuit board assemblies

• Set-up test fixtures for product testing

• Use of test measuring equipment

• Experience in electronics manufacturing

• Experience in functional testing of electronic assemblies is preferred

• Basic inspection skills with reference to IPC standards

• Ability to understand and communicate in written and oral English is essential

ROLE # 7: Machine Operator- Potting

As a Potting Machine Operator, you will be responsible to fill an electronic assembly with a potting compound for resistance to shock and vibration and for exclusion of moisture and corrosive agents.

• Operate the Potting Machine

• Maintain the equipment as required

• Troubleshoot the Potting machine

ROLE # 8: SMT Operators

As an SMT Standard Machine Operator, you will be responsible for all the duties listed above for the SMT Set-up Machine Operator role along with the following duties and responsibilities:

• SMT Machine Operation

• Hand placement of SMT components

• Set-up and operate the SMT Reflow Oven

ROLE # 9: SMT Set-up

As a SMT Set-up Machine Operator you will be responsible to set-up feeder tables for use in the SMT machines.

• Kitting based on Kitting Procedure

• Perform Short Strips and Loose Part Verification

• Perform return audit functions

• Operate the scale, tape and reel counter, vacuum sealer machine

• Perform inventory storage systems such as FIFO (First-in-First-out)

• Packaging and labeling requirements

• Move/create bin boxes and performing cycle counts

• Control of high dollar parts

• Experience in the operation of SMT equipment is essential
