As a Product Marketer, your job is to help build our Data brand and communicate value. You will play a key role in strengthening our brand identity, generating industry insights, and producing informative collateral in effort to build awareness and drive sales. Working closely with both Product and Sales teams, you will help build and execute a marketing strategy that continues to confidently drive our position as industry leaders.

This job requires an individual who is a visual and literal story-teller, detail oriented and organized. You can gain authority over the subject matter and own it confidently.

Understand the Competitive Landscape

  • Conduct competitive analysis and stay current within the evolving data and adtech industry to elevate position and brand messaging within the market
  • Understand the product suite extremely well, providing the ability to communicate from a strong basis of market knowledge and confidence

Elevate the Brand

  • Develop a proactive and strategic approach to strengthen positioning within the market, communicating the value of Data and Adtech across multiple outlets within the industry
  • Create a marketing plan for the fiscal year, elevating industry expertise through data driven storytelling, digital/social communication/conversations, and participation at key industry events

Develop Educational Resources & Marketing Collateral

  • Execute a Product Marketing strategy to enhance training resources, marketing collateral, case studies, and industry insights – developing a library of accessible assets
  • Impeccable attention to detail, ensuring a thorough understanding of the product set, proving the ability to communicate values and differentiators in the market

Team Collaboration

  • Execute marketing strategies and initiatives in tandem with Product Marketing, Sales Leaders, and Account Strategists
  • Maintains structured communication with Product Management teams to identify the product and feature updates


  • 5 years of previous work experience in the product, product marketing, or digital storytelling space
  • Skilled at creating positioning and messaging statements, marketing content and sales enablement materials
  • Excellent abilities in storytelling, presenting, writing, research and qualitative/quantitative analysis
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing (online advertising and Martech)
  • Expertise in the marketing of technology products in a SaaS environment
  • Network of contacts within the Canadian Digital Publishing and/or adtech industry is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency
  • Thrive under pressure and can effectively and professionally handle tough issues
