We are looking for an experienced Plant Supervisor with a strong background in food manufacturing to oversee and manage operations at our dynamic production facility. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of high-volume food production while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all production operations to achieve operational goals, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards.
- Foster strong relationships with team members, enhancing employee engagement and communication across the plant.
- Develop and maintain a safety-focused culture centered on incident prevention, continuous improvement, and compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Create and maintain labor, production, and distribution schedules to optimize production flow.
- Plan, organize, and control resources to ensure production schedules are executed efficiently.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and develop actionable plans to improve plant performance.
- Provide hands-on leadership and support in day-to-day operations.
- Manage the plant’s operational budget and ensure cost-efficiency.
- Hire, train, and oversee employee performance, ensuring team alignment with company goals.
- Manage special projects and ad-hoc reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role, with 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing is a must have
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced food production environment.
- Experience handling temperature-controlled products and maintaining product integrity.
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, with 5+ years preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations, including HACCP.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven leadership abilities in managing a food production facility, with a focus on team development and operational excellence.
- Experience managing temperature-controlled products.
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
