We are actively recruiting for a Plant Manager position within:

Location: Blenheim, Ontario

Salary: $150,000/annual (depending on experience)

Benefits: 100% medical, dental and Pension – Bonus Program – TBD

Plant Manager, Position Overview:

Reporting to the VP-Manufacturing Operations, the Plant Manager will lead safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations to achieve company objectives. This role involves overseeing various functions, including maintenance, production, process, warehousing & shipping, quality control, and inventory control, collaborating extensively with engineering and order processing teams across America’s locations.

Key Responsibilities:

·Ensure regulatory compliance and implement a robust Safety Program.

·Develop plant objectives, priorities, and operating plans, deploying them to the team for successful implementation.

·Evaluate and improve plant operations, focusing on EHS, quality, productivity, and profitability.

·Foster a company culture based on integrity, teamwork, customer focus, innovation, accountability, and inclusiveness.

·Establish effective communication plans with sales management, companion plants, and engineering teams.

·Lead recruiting and onboarding efforts, reducing employee turnover, and building strong community relationships.

·Contribute to capital planning and develop a team to support 25% capacity growth.

Qualifications:

·Minimum 7 years of planning and plant production management experience in a related industry, preferably in a job shop environment.

·Significant experience with metal machining and understanding materials flow and purchasing supply chain.

·Proficient in MRP/ERP systems, with implementation experience being advantageous.

·Technical background and completion of relevant manufacturing management training programs.

·Strong background in Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Corrective Action, Problem Solving, and Process Improvement.

·Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
